This workshop aims to assist doctoral candidates, post doctoral, and early-career scholars navigate the landscape of employment as an International Relations graduates. This workshop will emphasize the job search process in the academic market, describing the diverse opportunities within that space. The panel will feature three current employed scholars/educators who will share their experiences and provide advice on preparing job applications, while responding to specific audience questions (panelists will include individuals employed as tenure-track, sessional/contract, teaching-centric, and as postdoctoral fellows). To facilitate the conversation and tailor to the interests of prospective attendees, a number of questions will be sought prior to the session, although time will also be dedicated for a general question period.
